چکیده
The current study hypothesizes that reproducing sediment units might belong to areas difficult reach, sample, and attest is experimentally possible. research aims employ available samples named source soils can easily approach sample mix, simulate, produce the (non-available) sedimentary Target Sediment Units (TSU). particle size distribution (PSD) percentages are essentially used in mixture procedure construct non-available (target) Several were targeted, designed, simulated; They include marsh, bay mud, natural levee selected from eastern Basrah side at lower Mesopotamian plain, southern Iraq. matching between curves of simulated (SSU) target unit (TSU) was verified by applying a developed slope proximity ratio. For three tested (marsh, buy levee), ratios 1.0, 0.93, 0.99, respectively, which well matched. mineralogy, consistency limits as proxy. Casagrande plasticity chart modified reveal two empirical functions linking indices clay mineral groups. predictions reliable means proxy mineralogy fine-grained sediments. Reconstructing allows be practically presented it better characterizes for forensic geoscience applications; instance, engineering geology sedimentology applications concerning with studies physical mechanical behaviors sediments depositional conditions interpretations, respectively.

Investigating the Effect of Sedimentary Basin on Consolidation of Kerman Fine-Grained Soils
In this research, the effects of a sedimentary basin, environmental conditions, and the passage of time were investigated on consolidation processes and engineering characteristics of fine-grained soils in Kerman city. For this purpose, the natural consolidation curves of soil samples extracted from different locations of Kerman city were compared with the Kerman city intrinsic consolidation li...
متن کاملFine-Grained Data Distribution Operations for Particle Codes
This paper proposes a new fine-grained data distribution operation MPI Alltoall specific that allows an element-wise distribution of data elements to specific target processes. This operation can be used to implement irregular data distribution operations that are required, for example, in particle codes. We present different implementation variants for MPI Alltoall specific which are based on ...

abstract nowadays, the science of decision making has been paid to more attention due to the complexity of the problems of suppliers selection. as known, one of the efficient tools in economic and human resources development is the extension of communication networks in developing countries. so, the proper selection of suppliers of tc equipments is of concern very much. in this study, a ...
15 صفحه اولMeasuring Limits of Fine-grained Parallelism
First, the limits of low-level parallelism for a collection of real-world programs are investigated and Wall's results are veri ed. Maximum parallelism of symbolic benchmarks is investigated on both superpipelined and superscalar architectures. E ects of register renaming are considered. We then examine the e ects of garbage collection strategies on low-level parallelism. In particular, we exam...
متن کاملHypotheses for the origin of fine-grained sedimentary rocks at Santa Maria crater, Meridiani Planum
En route to Endeavour crater, the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity embarked on a short but significant campaign at Santa Maria crater during sols 2450–2551. Santa Maria crater is a relatively young impact crater, approximately 100 m in diameter and 11–17 m deep. Opportunity performed detailed analyses on several ejecta blocks and completed an extensive imaging campaign around the crater. Many...
